It’s estimated that over 30 million people worldwide have died from AIDS-related illnesses over the last 40 years and owing to the heightened risk of infection, the homosexual community has been devastated by a huge number of deaths during this time. Thankfully, due to improved treatment, AIDS-related deaths have been reduced by 60% since 2004.
Regardless of social standing, fame, or wealth, HIV/AIDS has had a tragic effect on communities all over the world. Even though medical treatment has come a long way since the early 80s, we’re yet to see a cure or vaccine emerge so it’s still just as important today as it ever was to continue educating people on the life-changing effects of this virus.
Many famous icons from stage and screen have also fallen victim to the disease over the years, and today we celebrate the lives of 15 gay celebrities who died of AIDS.

On 09.05.2020, I asked TaVelle the most important question I've ever asked. Here's how it went. Subscribe to my page for more videos of us coming soon!
Ellen welcomed Sarah and her fiancée Kate, whose photo of her proposing at the Eiffel Tower went viral. Since Kate’s parents do not accept that she’s gay, they will not be attending her wedding, so she took to Twitter to help get Ellen to walk her down the aisle. The couple talked about their story, and Ellen surprised them with a wedding gift from Shutterfly and a visit from their family and friends, and Sarah shocked Kate by proposing to her on the show!

Simeon Simms, Amor Wilson, Djai Starr, Phil Samba, and Cartell Lowe-Vidal have had to deal with their fair share of racism, and homophobia, growing up black as well as growing up gay - racism that has been committed by members of the gay community.
'Do you think being a black man, makes it harder being gay?'
Their unfiltered experiences are here for your eyes and ears only. From the last time they cried to racial fetishes, nothing is off-topic. This is panel: Black and Queer

Photoshoot turned Proposal!!
6 years ago, Jonathan and Derrick (JD) met at Grambling State University. Like most black gay men, they have battled societal normality that led to self-hate, fear, spiritual confrontation, and familial tensions. JD is a testament that relationships require hard work, and love does truly win! From preaching to combatting racism; from graduate school and now law school: the two have been together through it all, showing the world that love is growth and sacrifice.
One Love.
Proposal in London- 12/04/2016
With fireworks glaring in the background, Rick popped the question to the love of his life, Richard. A crowd of 80 of their closest friends and family were present and all kept the proposal a secret from Richard. Coincidentally, Richard was also planning a more intimate proposal of his own, but Rick beat him to the punch in gay dramatic style.
The happy couple has set their wedding date for March 16, 2019.
